My Leisure Trips

My leisure trips are very limited. It is due to two reasons. One, pandemic, two lack of driving companions.

As I am in the border of Nagaland, going to Assam is the easy way out.

I had few short trips to Assam. The roads in the Assam Dillai Gate side  is completely broken, I have to look for NH 129, towards Bokajan, Sariajan. I had few trips to Sariajan and still further towards Silanijan. The trips were very peaceful;. looking at the paddy fields both sides and small villages and hamlets in between cherish the mind and body.

One time I took Dilla Tenali, Sariajan – back home a trip of 68 kms with my friends. It was ab memorable trip.

 


I had a trip to Chumukeidma, the foothills of Naga Mountains. The newly laid roads are a blessing. However, crossing the city on week days or during daytime is very painful. I am not able to enjoy Benelli Imperiale 400 for city travel. I become tied of changing gears. Since the vehicle is 374cc engine, bit hard to drive in slow speeds, in the traffic and the engine heats up when driven in the first and second gears. However, outside the city, it is a pleasure to drive this bike.





As the Pandemic prolonged, my trip  is limited to Dilla Police Gate in the Nagaland border and constant trips to see the sunset. It was a pleasure to see the sun moving towards North West and moving back to south east… 

And finally saw my bike crossing 1000 kms and it took nearly one year.....
